Words of wisdom from AB

AB is my favorite character in the Atlantis Universe—a seven-and-a-half-foot, pipe-smoking, telepathic Sasquatch with a slight British accent, a wry sense of humor, and a habit of seeing what humans miss. Having lived for more than a century and a half, he has accumulated considerable experience—and more than a few opinions about life. As Charlie’s mentor, guardian, and friend, he is rarely shy about sharing them.
Here are a few Words of Wisdom from AB. I’ll add more as he shares them with me.
1. I'm not a legend in my own mind. Rather, I'm a legend in yours.
2. If zombies like to eat brains, you have nothing to worry about.
3. Back in the early twenty-first century I went to the Great Smoky Mountains to visit a cousin. While there we went to Dollywood and got to hear Dolly Parton sing. Loved her. Here's one of my favorite Dolly quotes:
"The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain."
4. Don't judge me by the size of my footprints, judge me by my actions.
5. Why is happiness so elusive? Because you look for it in the future rather than in the present.
6. Don’t cry over spilled milk, just pour yourself another glass and watch your cat enjoy itself.
7. The Grass Ain’t Greener, The Wine Ain’t Sweeter, Either Side of the Hill.

8. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
Arthur C. Clarke’s 3rd law. One of my favorite science fiction writers of the twentieth century. I particularly enjoyed Rendezvous with Rama and Childhood's End.
9. Just because your paranoid doesn’t mean there’s not a Yeti right behind you ready to rip your head off.
10. There is more intelligence in ten minutes of silence than in ten hours of conversation. Trust me - I've timed it.
11. The biggest footprints are not always left by the largest feet.
